In a period marked by challenges and changes, we successfully completed the first half of 2021. This is reflected by the achievement of new milestones, such as the opening of the JED in Schlieren, the start of the new project phase on the Maag site and the nomination of YOND for the category of «Good Buildings of the City of Zurich». Since July 2021, Marcel Kucher has become our new CFO. We warmly welcome him to the Group Executive Board. The results achieved complete the positive first half of 2021 perfectly. Solid half-year result 2021

Swiss Prime Site closes the first half of 2021 with good results. The opening steps for the economy and society in relation to the pandemic are sending positive impulses through the company. The transaction and rental markets are recovering, demand for space is picking up and social life is returning to normal. The core real estate business was able to benefit noticeably from this boost and achieved very pleasing results in the first half of the year.

«The Healthy Building»: New demands on properties

Due to increased health awareness, the demands on properties are growing. People in Switzerland spend up to 21 hours a day indoors. Be it at home, at work or while shopping. The article published in the NZZ aims to show how real estate companies have addressed this change in needs and have already implemented initial solutions.

In Schlieren, just outside the city of Zurich, «JED» skilfully combines the historic industrial character with a modern workplace atmosphere, creating interesting spaces for tenants, visitors and the local population. On 1 July 2021, we welcomed our new Chief Financial Officer. We are delighted about the new collaboration! Previously, he was with the listed Peach Property Group from 2011 to mid-2021, as CFO from 2012 and additionally as COO from 2015.

City of Zurich nominates YOND for the «Good Buildings of the City of Zurich» award

The tender for the award takes place every five years and is currently running for buildings from 2016 to 2020. An interdisciplinary jury selects the best buildings and designed open spaces from the projects submitted and awards them. Among them is our property YOND.

Logistics real estate! Somehow logical.

For some time now, the real estate industry has been concerned with the increasing demand for logistics properties. Demand has continued to gather pace over the past decade with the increasing mobility and general digitalisation within society.

maaglive.ch: Start of the next project phase

The Maag site near Zurich Hardbrücke is being upgraded in terms of urban development with a residential tower, a cultural centre and the conversion of an industrial building. The new project movie provides a realistic preview of the development of the site.
