Interview with René Zahnd

René Zahnd, CEO of Swiss Prime Site, looks back on a successful financial year and provides an outlook for the course of 2025. Thanks to a positive market environment, rental increases and efficiency gains, Swiss Prime Site achieved very good results in 2024. Rental income and real estate assets increased significantly.

Capital increase Swiss Prime Site

Swiss Prime Site has successfully placed shares through an accelerated bookbuilding process, generating gross proceeds of CHF 300 million. The net proceeds will be deployed over the next 9 to 12 months, which will lead to an increase in FFO I per share and net asset value.

Redesign of the Jelmoli rooftop

The historic Jelmoli building is being given a new lease of life. A particular focus is on the redesign of the rooftop. Swiss Prime Site has carried out a study contract in collaboration with an interdisciplinary panel of experts. VOGT Landscape Architects will design the rooftop.

The iconic building complex is being transformed into a modern destination with an innovative mix of retail, restaurants, offices and leisure facilities. The modern office space in a prime location is available for marketing with immediate effect.

Saving energy without compromising tenants' comfort? Yes, that's possible! By automatically recording and analyzing energy consumption data, we were able to implement over 400 measures and achieve significant savings in electricity, heating and cooling energy over the past year.
